| This MacBook belonged to one of my Mom's friends, who bought it in 2013 and used it lightly until about 2017. It sat unused until 2023/04/22 when this friend gave me the Macbook. On 2023/08/15 I upgraded the HDD to and SSD and began using the Macbook for school until 2023/11 when I began using a different laptop, and retired the Macbook to my collection. Then, on 2024/02/09 I installed Ubuntu on the MacBook and began using it as a main laptop again. On 2024/02/21 the Hard Drive Cable failed, and the Macbook was out of commision until 2024/02/27. During that time, I used the ASUS as my main laptop in place of it. I officially stopped using this as a main laptop on 2024/03/13. For a while I began to use this macbook solely for for bypassing iCloud locks and viewing battery health on old iPhones, until 2024/04/30 when I upgraded it to Catalina and plan to use it for CoconutBattery, iPod sync, and animation work. |
