Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR

Vehicle Information
Make Mitsubishi
Model Lancer Evoluton X
Year 2008-2015
Engine Mitsubishi 4B11T 2.0L Turbocharged I4
Drivetrain All Wheel Drive w/ Active Yaw Control
Transmission 5-speed manual
Comments My dream car. In fact it's the exact one in the photo, an Evo X in blue. I'm always in complete awe when I see one because theyre an extremely rare sight, and also very expensive since there isnt that many left. I don't know if I'd put mods on it, but I'd like to find one for mostly stock as I want one as a daily driver that I can have some actual fun in. Manual is non negotiable too, which is why I want a GSR trim, as the MR trim is the DCT version (basically the same as the Ralliart). Hoping that I can save up enough money for one and also to foot the insurance cost because I'm sure it wont be cheap, even once I'm 25.

Acura RSX Type-S

Vehicle Information
Make Acura
Model RSX Type-S
Year 2001-2006
Engine Honda K20A2/K20Z1 2.0L Inline 4 - 200-210 HP
Drivetrain Front Wheel Drive
Transmission 6-speed manual
Comments I was driving East on I4 on February 27, and I saw someone driving a blue one of these. I had not really seen it before, especally not in person, and when I found out what it was it was like love at first sight. From what I've read, it checks pretty much all my boxes for what I want and need out of a car, and I'm really hoping that I could get one of these after the Outlander Sport.

Mitsubishi 3000GT/GTO

Vehicle Information
Make Mitsubishi
Model 3000GT/GTO
Year 1991-1999
Engine Mitsubishi 6G72 3.0L V6
Drivetrain Front Wheel Drive, All Wheel Drive (VR-4)
Transmission 5 speed manual, 6 speed manual ('93 onwards), 4 speed Mitsubishi automatic
Comments If I had to have a weekend/fun sporty car to keep, itd be this. Also called the Dodge Stealth, this one is often overlooked as the Eclipse overshadowed it for most of its life and outlived it by about 13 years. I also mainly like the styling on this, and dont know too much about it yet. I've seen it once in person since someone at the local car meet had one. The most desireable one is the VR-4 model, which is basically like the Eclipse GSX with an upgraded engine and All Wheel Drive. I intend to research this car more, might also get this one as a project.

Mitsubishi Montero

Vehicle Information
Make Mitsubishi
Model Montero
Year 1991-1999
Engine Mitsubishi 6G74 3.5L V6
Drivetrain Four-by-four
Transmission 5 speed automatic
Comments I quite like the look of this SUV, and I'm typically not a fan of SUVs. I feel like some day I would need a large utility vehicle for transport, mostly towing assuming I get into buying cars to work on or trailer over to events. I think this would be a good workhorse in order to do that, and a lot of people love this SUV. Maybe I'd do some off roading with it too, who knows?

Mitsubishi Eclipse 2nd Gen Mitsubishi Eclipse 3rd Gen
Mitsubishi Eclipse 4th Gen

Vehicle Information
Make Mitsubishi
Model Eclipse
Year 1995-1999 (2G), 2000-2005 (3G), 2008-2012 (4G)
Engine Mitsubishi 4G63 2.0L I4 (2G)
Mitsubishi 4G64/4G69(4G only) 2.4L I4
Mitsubishi 6G72 3.0L V6 (3G), Mitsubishi 6G75 3.8L V6 (4G)
Drivetrain Front Wheel Drive, All Wheel Drive (2G GSX only)
Transmission 4 speed automatic, 5 speed automatic (4G), 5 speed manual, 6 speed manual (4G)
Comments The other car similar to the 3000GT that I've looked into more. I've only seen a few of these in the wild, most of them being 4th generations and only one 3rd gen at a junkyard. A friend of mine is really interested in getting a 3rd gen, so I'd love to test drive it if he does (automatic though, bummer but it is what it is). The 2nd gen is very widely renown for being in the Fast & Furious (so was the 3rd gen but nobody cares as much). My aunt actually owned a 2nd gen when she was about my age. I don't know the specifics about her owning it besides that she crashed it when entering the neighborhood that I would happen to move into about 10 years later. The 4th gen I havent looked at too much since it's got a funky design, which I like but I dont find particularly super appealing (it's got a "bubble butt" similar to the 2G but much rounder). I've heard these can be really shit too but they're still somewhat popular. Last time I saw one was the other week at the Mitsubishi dealership when a kid in a 4G pulled into the service center. I saw a 2G yesterday at the same dealership parked outside the service center too. Pretty neat cars. Might look into owning these in rotation over time, show my aunt the 2G again and get her reaction, haha.

1st Gen Honda Insight

Vehicle Information
Make Honda
Model Insight
Year 2000-2006
Engine Honda ECA1 1.0L Inline-3 (67 HP)
Honda IMA 10kW Electric Motor (13 HP)
Drivetrain Front Wheel Drive, Hybrid Integrated Motor Assist
Transmission 5-speed manual (also available with CVT)
Comments Introduced to me by LRG!!. It's got a very unique and divisive design. Designed purely around fuel efficiency with a 1.0L Inline 3-cylinder engine and the hybrid Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system. It's not very powerful and can only produce about 70 HP. Its exterior is designed for maximum aerodynamics - including the 3-spoke rims and the rear tire covers. Typical range of MPG for this car is about 55 to 70, depending on how you drive it. There have been some ZE1 Insights to not only reach 100 MPG, but also reach 1 million miles. This car is also one of the few hybrid vehicles sold with a manual transmission, with most of the others also being Hondas (CRZ, Civic Hybrid).

8th Gen Chevrolet Impala

Vehicle Information
Make Chevrolet
Model Impala
Year 1999-2005
Engine 3.4 L LA1 V6
3.8 L L36 V6
3.8 L L67 supercharged V6
Drivetrain Front Wheel Drive
Transmission Automatic
Comments This is one of the more recent cars I've fixated on, as it's stood out to me for quite some time. It's nothing really special, it's mostly really the unique design of the rear that's gotten my attention. I've seen some videos about it and it's been pretty highly regarded as reliable and a good and practical full size sedan. The Impala only ever came with V6 engines, so it's got some power under the hood. I've only ever driven this car in BeamNG, and it's driven pretty well in the game and frankly would do well as a secondary beater car if I had the space and money for one.

Honda Element

Vehicle Information
Make Honda
Model Element
Year 2003-2006
Engine Honda K24A4 2.4L Inline-4 (160 HP)
Drivetrain Front Wheel Drive, All Wheel Drive (Optional)
Transmission 4-speed/5-speed Automatic, 5 speed manual
Comments One of the few SUVs I truly like. Its design has always stood out to me and it looks like it'd be the PERFECT car to have for a road trip. There are no generations of the Element, but it received a refresh in 2007 that changed its design; and I'm frankly not a fan of it. If I wanted a road trip vehicle that I could comfortably bring several people, pack lots of luggage, and even camp out in it, I'd absolutely buy an Element just for that.

6th Gen Toyota Celica

Vehicle Information
Make Toyota
Model Celica
Year 1993-1999
Engine 1.8 L 7A-FE I4
2.0 L 3S-FE I4
2.0 L 3S-GE I4
2.0 L 3S-GTE I4 turbo
2.2 L 5S-FE I4
Drivetrain Front Wheel Drive, All Wheel Drive (Optional)
Transmission 4-speed Automatic, 5 speed manual
Comments Once again another car that I began to like through driving in BeamNG. Within the game it's a pretty powerful car that proved to be fun to drive at fast speeds. I'm also a fan of it's four-eye design that was pretty common in some cars of the era, and generally it's whole vibe. I could realistically see myself driving this one for a fun weekend car.

7th Gen Hyundai Elantra

Vehicle Information
Make Hyundai
Model Elantra N-Line
Year 2021-Ongoing
Engine Hyundai Theta II 2.0L Turbo Inline-4 (276 HP)
Drivetrain Front Wheel Drive
Transmission 5 speed manual, 8-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission
Comments I've typically not been a fan of Hyundai (and by extension Kia), but this was probably one of the few Hyundais to catch my eye. In recent times I've held an appreciation for many of Hyundai's recent designs as I found them to be quite attractive (e.g. Sonata, Ioniq, Veloster N). I had never heard of the N-Line until I moved into my apartment and found two Elantra N-Lines parked by my building. At first I mostly just admired their design, but I didn't really pay attention to it until I watched some videos regarding it, and it was significantly more powerful than I first assumed it to be. If someone held a gun to my head and forced me to buy a brand new car, it'd most likely be one of these. Edit 2026/01/21: I test drove one at the Rick Case Hyundai in Plantation, FL on 2025/12/27 and it wasnt too bad of an experience. It packed a punch and the transmission felt great. It's not a bad car, but boy was the salesman trying to push me to buy it.

2th Gen Hyundai Tiburon

Vehicle Information
Make Hyundai
Model Tiburon
Year 2003-2008
Engine Hyundai Delta 2.7L DOHC V6
Drivetrain Front Wheel Drive
Transmission 5 speed manual, 6 speed manual, 4 speed Mitsubishi automatic
Comments I like this car mostly for the styling. I was first introduced to this car through Ronald Finger, who had it as his first car and even repaired a crashed one in 2024. Ive heard very mixed opinions on it, as many say its very reliable and others hate on it for being Korean or generally a terrible car. I'd like to own one of these as a project car maybe, and probably only use it every so often for fun before selling. I'd shoot for the SE trim since thats the one that has the V6 and 6 speed manual.
