Kronos Kairos & Synechia Backstory

Kronos Kairos came about over the course of several years, as I had begun drawing Five Nights at Freddy's 1 and 2 characters in a series of comics I named Five Nights in Comics (2016-2020). I gave the characters new personality traits and dynamics that was fundamental to the comics series, and it wasnt until Late 2018 that I wanted to develop an actual story with these characters besides the pre-existing lore that I had been making up as I went. This want came about from "Kevin the Cube" from Fortnite, as it had become the cornerstone of the ongoing battle pass season. I dubbed this "Season 2" of FNiC, and drew a lot of comics developing this new plotline. I did this for the next few months, writing a multitude of comics including one where Freddy Fazbear's Pizza was destroyed by a comet (like Dusty Depot in May 2018). Then in May 2019 I rewrote all of the characters I had been using for the FNiC series and gave them new names and new personalities and dynamics, some of which were derived from the previous comics. As is seen in the resources, there were a lot of details that were changed from the original character profiles and information, mainly birthdays, names, and some personalities. An example being Markus Darwin, who I had created as Candy Perth with an heir of mystery and intrigue, as well as a character of 9 lives. I changed him to be more normal and on-par with the rest of the cast as the original design of the character made no sense in the story.

However, the FNiC comic series ended in January 2020, so I put all of that lore and information on the backburner as I hadn't made many actual comics between when I created the characters and then. It wasn't until 2021 when I had decided to pick back up where I left off and attempted to make new comics out of these characters, but I wasn't as motivated or as free to draw as much as I used to. I did manage to create one short comic, focusing on Tom (Bonnie) and Taylor (Mangle) returning to Lorad and uncovering the ruins of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in current day (Late August 2021). This comic was titled "Uncovery", and when I began writing the story in a document I gave it the same title before I went with a Greek/Latin theming of titles and the title became "Kronos Kairos" (χρόνος καιρός) or "Time Weather" in Greek. The story was inspired by the pre-existing comics as well as the TV Show "Manifest" (2018-2023) which I had become a fan of in the same year. One fun fact is that the meteor impact comic I mentioned earlier was made on January 19, 2019, and was specifically completed at 1:14 PM, which I decided to make canon as the date and time of impact in the story.

Following the completion of Kronos Kairos on January 7, 2022, I began writing a follow up story named Synechia. This sequel began writing on January 31, and only had 3 chapters written over the course of several years. Writing momentum had greatly slowed down, with sporadic writing being spread across 2022 and 2023 before the story reached a standstill. Honestly, it had taken me so long to write it that I forgot the story as I was just writing it as I went along. This is where the story ends, as no new writing was produced after August 23, 2023. The main issue I have with the title of this book is that I have no idea if it was a mistake or not. From my memory I believe the word I was trying to think of was "Kenopsia", which describes the feeling of a place once bustling with life now being empty. Because if I look up the current title I just get medical information for an eye condition, which I severely doubt is what I was going for.
